This unique home on wheels was hand crafted by owner over a ten year period. (1980-1990)
The floor plan features an office with its own entrance, full galley, salon, double birth cab over bedroom, toilet/shower, and the armoire in the hallway creates a dressing room when both doors are opened.
The interior finish includes real raised panel doors on cabinetry handcrafted from native black walnut and red oak. Jalasy windows with screens have been added above the existing bus windows to provide cross ventilation control. Two roof mounted air conditioners provide additional cooling. Oversized skylights facilitate natural daylight lighting. A Suburban forced air propane furnace provides heat for the front and rear compartments.
The exterior woodwork is solid cypress for exceptional resistance to weathering. A small covered porch at the rear provides private access to the office and serves as an extra storage area when the bus is underway. At the front of the bus is a spectacular bay window in the upper birth. From the inside it gives the feeling of being suspended in the exterior environment.
The Land Yacht has been in storage for about ten years and needs a good cleaning, but it is road ready. I have replaced the battery, fuel pump, carburetor, master cylinder, and vacuum booster. The tires are in fair shape. The lights are in working order.
Price: $4,500

Re: Beautifuly finished Bus I found on Craigs List

I emailed this guy a while back. He lives in Asheville NC but the bus is in Fayetteville.
If this were diesel I might have already purchased a bus...
It also looks like it needs some serious elbow grease and some drying in as well...
