I listed my 1991 Ford Carpenter bus on ebay yesterday.. I figured I'd put it up here for anyone interested in an inexpensive deal on a good bus..
opening bid is $350, buy it now for $1650 or it's listed I'd trade it to a Volkswagen.

The auction ends March 30th.

Good. Another person with a 6.6/7.8 running around out there. The more that are still out there, the more likely I am to be able to get parts off the shelf at a parts store. Does that bs have air brakes as well? Also, how did you get it titled as a pickup truck? Were you just not completely honest at the DMV or is that normal in your state? I would have had to get "Y-plates" in either the commercial bus or commerical truck category. They're expensive (based on weight in 3000 lbs increments) and require a CDL for things like air brakes. Instead I get to have RV plates which cost the same amount (still based on weight) but mean I am exempt from needing the air brake endorsment, inspections, etc.

no air brakes on this one... I talked to the dmv about a 'title change affadavit', and what I needed to do was pull all but a few seats and it couldnt be yellow... the officer did the inspection... right now it's runnig a 7,000 pound plate because thats what the dmv gave me... I explained it to them and showed a picture... and said I want a cheap plate.

aaaaaand the reserve is $1250 for anyone wanting to do me a favor and take it away... I've also got a big Red Cross "Disaster Services" van up foir sale too with a non-running 4 cylinder cummins diesel, starts at $200 with no reserve.

Does that van run? I've been looking at doing a BT4 swap into my toyota. I think a 3.9 cummins would be fun in a trail truck. Also...any idea what the tranny is?

and no idea about the tranny, I'm just thinkin 3 speed plus low gear... I honestly havent looked at it lately.
