CAT V8 Diesel and 6 spd Allison
I am installing a Ser: 50 in my coach and have a complete running combination.
The engine is a CAT 1160 the daddy of the 3208 , same basic motor BUT built with replaceable sleves , not just a throwaway .
The engine is rated 210hp and is hooked to a 6 speed Allison .
The package was installed NEW by the Cat sealer for a previous owner.
IT runs fine and gave 10 mpg and an 80+ mpg in the Flx VL 100 its being removed from.
Includes the rear axle (should you be converting from gas) and the shift controls.
The price is $1500 for EVERYTHING , located in Arcadia FL and put on your transport.
This setup (both engine & tranny) is pure mechanical , so installation will be a snap.
