Sounds almost too good. How did it escape the Kalifornia Krusher rule!

I was just down in LA last week, and saw TWO of these crowns on consecutive days (one a tandem rear axle, one s single rear axle) still driving around with students on them. They were shiny and beautiful.

If I am not mistaken, the CA Crown 10-wheeler is being sold by A-Z Bus Sales.

I recognize the name and number of the used bus guy there.

Yes, it is from AZ Bus Sales. Just saw it on his website but no price listed. The prices he has for other buses are unreal! $30k or more.......crazy expensive! You could buy a coach bus for what he's selling school buses for.

Such a beautiful Crown. I'd join in the bid wars if I wasn't already committed to my build.

The reason why the prices seem so high on most of the used buses at A-Z is the buses have most likely been retrofitted with particulate traps.

On average the cost of retrofitting is about $20K per bus.

The buses they decide are not worth retrofitting they tend to sell south of the border and rarely show up on their website.
