I have switched to cellular-based wireless internet, so I am selling my HughesNet system.

This has been my internet access for the past 3 years. There is no current contract or obligation associated with the modem.
It works wherever there is a clear view of the southern sky. Originally purchased from Maxwell Satellite (

Heavy duty DeWalt tripod
Fully-adjustable dish (.74m) & outdoor transmitter (1 watt) & receiver
Spare 1 watt transmitter
HughesNet outdoor pointing device (shows signal strength while pointing the dish)
50' of coaxial cable
HN7000S Modem w/ power supply
Ethernet cable
Original instruction manual with setup & pointing instructions.
I'll include a compass to help with pointing, and a US Robotics wireless router if the buyer wants it.
Has usual wear for a used item. Everything works. Speed test this morning results were 1200k down, 180k up, which is expected for daytime use.
The dish & tripod are fairly bulky, so shipping will not be cheap. Alternatively I can deliver within a reasonable distance of SW New Mexico (as far as Tucson, Phoenix, Albuquerque, El Paso, etc.).
