Thanks so much! Sorry for the delay in responding. I’m having trouble navigating my way around the website via my phone. Here is the link to the bus:

After doing a lot of research, I have pretty much decided that I need to go with something a lot less expensive. On the one hand, I need something that is pretty much ready to go ($$$). But on the other hand, I don’t need something that’s going to cost me thousands and thousands of dollars every year for maintenance and fuel. I would also like to get something that is going to last for years to come. I don’t really want to travel for just a year and then have to sell it. I would like to use it for years to come. There are so many things to think about!
I’ve looked extensively at the MCI’s and at this point, I think it would be too expensive for my budget over the long haul— from what I’ve seen, I’d have to pay upfront for a 20-30k + MCI conversion compared to most Skoolies and have more expensive repairs and fuel costs. I’m thinking I need to save some of my money for maintenance and probably fuel. I know I could buy a cheaper MCI bus but I don’t think I could handle the conversion by myself. That would leave me paying more money to convert the bus and I would end up spending probably 20-30k + at a minimum.
I think I’m back to a school bus skoolie. I wish I could find a Crown skoolie that was already mostly converted. Having said that, I also like big windows, and tall ceilings if we are going to live in it. Does a safe, reliable, big window, tall ceiling skoolie exist?
Thanks so much for all the advise! I feel like I’ve fallen in a skoolie hole and I can’t get up!!! <—that, and I keep have the reoccurring thought that I should have been a trucker!
