FL buses at auction today

I've been watching these. This auction house is usually a complete, worthless ripoff but its local so I often watch it.
I've seen these and they're REALLY nice buses.
I was gonna bid for sport but its gettin too rich for my blood, as usual.
Average price for a bus at this place is like 8500 plus the most ungodly fees and conditions in all of auctioneering.

George Gideon Auctioneers

They've got 8.3's, 3060's, and one storage bay. Nice buses and pretty clean. Definitely not rust buckets.

My god, they're in the 12k range now. I thought they looked like nice buses, but damn. They still likely have some service life left.
These suckers are going to be expensive, and still an hour left.

Look at buses on PublicSurplus for Washington state where the long buses often sell for around $2000, and higher. Around here the short and medium buses sell for more than the long buses.

Short buses are less common.
Buses used to be cheap around here. Till about ten years ago. Now FL buses are WAY over-valued.
I went 800 miles north to Kentucky and got a humdinger of a deal on my bus. Off GovDeals. No competition really. Someone bid but a $50 bump up and I was the winner.
$2150 for a nice bus with air ride and mechanical DT466!

Nice deal and I surely appreciate that you don't buy buses from a reseller middleman, although I can understand where a more prepared bus might be in order for those with minimal mechanical experience that don't mind paying more for a sense of security.
Here in Oregon for federal I shop GovLiquidation, otherwise Public Surplus is a pretty safe bet. I prefer the federal stuff because so much stuff is unused, but that's an 8 hour round trip. PS is close.
