Free Bus in CO

Just saw this ad in the CO craigslist. Read carefully. I hope this bus finds a good home, as it does come with a catch. It could be the perfect bus for the right person.

Heh...I was wondering about that. State law or federal? Utah has some free dumping sites but holy cow that's a LOT of oil...if that's what it even is.

anyone that owns land in carbondale can afford to dispose of that. they'll just need to dip into that trust fund of theirs.

toxic waste dump turned prime aspen realty as soon as that bus disappears.

Free oil changes for life!

I'd get that bus just for the front drive axel and T-case.
Give the oil to someone to heat their house.

If that were near me, I'd go have a look. That oil would burn well in one of our tire fires... lol

Just take it and wait for the price of oil to go back up.

Even if you scrapped the thing you'd probably lose money if you had to dispose of the oil.

Wondering if this was a factory 4x4 bus. Judging by the faded sticker in one of the photos, it looks pretty likely. Interesting tidbit as I've seen very few 4x4 buses.

Here, used oil is worth money.

Anywhere from 14 cents a liter to 40 cents depending on who you call.

There are also people who put adds on kijji wanting used oil for boilers, furnaces, ect.

Burning used oil in tire fires is a environmental crime. Please think of this great planet we live on, and leave a place worth living for our kids.

Same as a few other have said, I would grab that just for the front axle and transfer case.
Those parts are hard to get.

Haha, we have to. We live on the tire and dog dumping road. The county stopped responding to clean up calls years ago.

Learn how to build earthship style houses with the tires.

No clue who that Keith guy even is.

You live somewhere hot, you need a earthship.

With your lack of care for this planet, you probably don't even know what a earthship is.

Or it would be far far too much work for you.

Some of us try hard to reduce our carbon foot print.

I can't wait for careless, selfish people to do the final push to put this planet over the edge, past the point of mass habitation.
Then the super storms can wipe most of you out, and the careless polluting will stop.

That above ground sticks and staples house you live in will be one of the first to crumble.

I dont care what you say. You're just a mean spirited little man.
You lost me at the part where you burn your excrement in your living area.
You dig deep on here pouring over people picking them apart. Grow up.

Poop is natural. Burning it disinfects and prevents disease and sickness.

If you continue destroying this planet, you will be hiding in a hole in the ground looking at your poop after a super storm destroys your sticks and staples house.

I'm not the only one here that disagrees with your disrespect for the environment. I'm just the only one with big enough balls to say something about it.
