As for the mechanics of the bus. Well, you’ll be pleased.
This IS NOT the typical 5.9L engine. The 5.9L Cummins engine is commonly put in pick up trucks. It is highly underpowered for them, especially a school bus.
This bus is a gold mine mechanically(which is why I took time to find this).
It is a diesel Cummins 8.3L flat nose PUSHER(short drivetrain/less problems).
8.3 Cummins can handle the load of a converted Skloolie.
The bus runs, I’ve driven it out of California many long miles.
It starts right up. If you understand how to take care of a car, a bus will be just as easy. It’s no different. Oil. Gas. Brakes. Radiator fluid. Done.
The bus is a tank. It can even drive in sand without getting stuck.
