Getting Ready To Buy-List of some I have found.
I have decided on the type of bus I want. I want a pusher from the west coast but I have so many options with various engine & transmission combos I would like some help from this community what would be the best option. In an attempt to not be a drain on the community here I tried to research as much as I could on my own but the time has come for some help. It is appreciated and I hope one day I can add back to the group more then I take. I realize there are going to be a lot of different preferences so I plan on taking a census of the comments to make my decision.

All look like good busses.
I would double check the 2006 and see if it has emissions equipment (expensive and troublesome) the 8. 3 with the 643 is a nice combo.

alot has to do with your plans are for your bus ..
if oyu are planning on running the mountain ranges. then its hard to beat an 8.3 with an MD3060 in it..
if some of those newer ones are in california they may have been retro-fitted with extra emissions.. we have seen some like that come from that state. im thinking they may have required retrofits on 04 anbd newer but dont quote me on that..
if you dont plan to drive much then some of the lower cost lower spec engines would be fine... ie a T-444E is a reliable but NOT very powerful engine in a full size bus..
the cat C7 was a bit of a blunder and had lots of failures... price is WAY HIGH for that bus...
price is high on that last 2004 CAT 3126... great engine and trans. but high price...
looks like some nice units you found though!..

I wrote mileage wrong
Thanks for the advice that was the direction I was going til I found out I wrote the mileage down wrong. These two actually have 350,000 miles... Is that too many miles? Also I am going to be doing a lot of everything from driving back and forth across the U.S., in the city, in the country, live, etc.
