Nope, I'm still bus-less. I feel like such a sucker for paying rent in an apartment instead of buying it. But hopefully I'll have enough saved up by the end of the summer to find my bus, whatever bus that may be, lol.

I like how they turned the entry door (oval leaded/beveled glass) 90° on it's side and used it as a focal point in the rear.

Re: Gypsy dream bus in Olympia

I have told numberous people here to buy the 1980 gmc transit listed here in salem oregon on craigslist. it is for sale for 3500 now, and a extremely good conversion by one of my friends - alvin (well i helped some back around 199. has had a new 8v71 engine in it twice, and recently a new transmission...and going for scrap value. If i had the extra money i would buy it myself, but spending too much money on getting ready to go back to the other property. This is a great bus...and i suspect they will take 3000 cash for it.

This bus looks sweet if they'll really take 3k I'd consider it! With a newer engine and new transmission that sounds like a great deal!. But the ad I found is http://salem.craigslist.org/rvs/2967554540.html As soon as I am ready to buy a bus if they still have it I'll give them a call. Thanks for the lead I'm really hoping to get into something my the end of June if not sooner.

I have called the number in the ad and the lady that answers keeps insisting they are firm on the price. Can you give me more details on the bus and how to get ahold of Alvin instead of the number in the ad? I would rather get a bus approved by someone on skoolie.net than from the many marks I've been dealing with from craigslist here in Boise
Thanks
