hello from a new guy

im a new guy here, and i have a bit of a problem, im trying to find a school bus, preferrably the flat front kind like the bluebirds.

im disabled and cannot afford the expensive heating and electric bills here in wv and i want to downsize from my house to a bus.

where do i even begin to look for a bus? ive got a budget of $3000 to get a bus. and a small budget to add a shower and toilet, i have an idea to turn 2 bus bench seats into a twin bed, i have a recliner and sofa for the front and all the kitchen appliances. so just a little bit of work adding tanks, toilets, showers and hvac.

anyone got an idea where i could get a big bus for $3k? thanks in advance, some broke guy

Craigslist, eBay, govdeals.com, or check with your local school districts if they've got any buses that they're retiring or going out for auction.

Hi
There is quite a few flat front Amtrans with the DT466E engines on publicsurplus.com right now. The DT466 is the best engine in a International bus. They are even in West Virginia
Here is a link to one: http://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/auctio ... uc=1144228
