I use a linear accuator like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heavy-Duty-10-L ... 073wt_1257
Its mounted it over the door + rigged up to push on the arm between the 2 doors.

Re: I need an Electric Door opener for my Bus.

Sorry for the delay. I stared at how to make things work for hours-pivots-linkage-all kinks of weird ideas. The the K.I.S.S. principal kicked in. 10 hours of head scratching + 10 minutes to make it.
How things work in my bus (+ I presume most others) The mechanical lever the driver swings pushes a bar to the front door-and another up top goes from the front door to the rear door. The accuator pulls to close-pushes to open mounted to that arm.

The front mount is just 2 small triangles ( in my case roll bar gussets) with a removable hitch pin in case of emergency-or the times you just want to open + close the door quick + often. (the cold weekend we camp out.)

The rear is just a piece of square tubing. You'll notice in the pic from the other post there is a another chunk of metal welded in as a brace-that accuator has alot of power.

Here it is in action.

Re: I need an Electric Door opener for my Bus.

The motor end has a lug on it-it just goes into the piece of square tubing. THe gold bolt attaches it-2 bolts vertical attach it to the bus.
You'll notice there is a strap along side of the motor-I had the stock (tiny) screws that hold the acuator to the electric motor blow out one time-this just strengthen things. I presume its made more for its load to push things-to shut the door on mine it pulls.
