Sorry for the delay. I stared at how to make things work for hours-pivots-linkage-all kinks of weird ideas. The the K.I.S.S. principal kicked in. 10 hours of head scratching + 10 minutes to make it.
How things work in my bus (+ I presume most others) The mechanical lever the driver swings pushes a bar to the front door-and another up top goes from the front door to the rear door. The accuator pulls to close-pushes to open mounted to that arm.
The front mount is just 2 small triangles ( in my case roll bar gussets) with a removable hitch pin in case of emergency-or the times you just want to open + close the door quick + often. (the cold weekend we camp out.)
The rear is just a piece of square tubing. You'll notice in the pic from the other post there is a another chunk of metal welded in as a brace-that accuator has alot of power.
Here it is in action.
