Interest in a Bluebird RE? Seats removed & painted.

Hey Everyone,

I ran into a gent with an A3RE that he may want to sell. He asked me to help him finish removing the seats and painting so that he could sell it.

Its a nice looking bus. Unfortunately I am having a little trouble with pictures. I'll get it worked out here shortly.

The bus is a 2001 All American RE
295k miles on bus
CAT 3216 250hp with less than 100k miles.
Allison MD-3060
Pass through baggage bays
Antilock Disc brakes
Tires 11R22.5 in fair condition
5.29 rear gears

I have been seeing a lot of requests for buses with some of the work done lately.

Any interest in a highway equipped RE with seats, floor and paint already handled? I can help with electrical and plumbing as well.

Any interest?

Price is somewhat dependent on the amount of work done and delivery.

We kicked it around and thought..... fresh 250hp engine, MD3060, pusher, seats and floor out and paint should land us around $6500.

If you think this may be worth pursuing then let me know.

If you are an expert who thinks every bus offered for sale is worth less than yours, good for you. Please keep it to yourself.

Yeah I wasn't sure if the gent he ran into was in his location or not. Would this be considered one of those western buses you were suggesting??

Want, but its probably a year before we pull the trigger on another rig. Looks like someone else is about to get lucky.

How much as is? Some might want to preserve a few rows and paint job is not worth much to someone with their own intentions.

Man you're doing someone a big favor. I'd probably want your asking price just to paint a bus!
Cangrats on the quick sale Steve. You're a hell of a guy and glad the bus found a home.
