JACUZZI BUS FOR SALE

Yes folks, it's sad but true. I've decided to sell the black plague. It's been a good bus, but i need/want something with a bigger motor. 50-53 mph just doesn't cut it on the x-way driving all the way across the country.

price is $2,500 loaded with everythign in it, or $1,000 with the jacuzzi and other amenities removed. The bus has high miles approx 275k.

Engine: 6.6 Liter Ford 6 cylinder turbo with intercooler
Brakes: Air
Trans: Allison auto, non-lock up converter
Rear axle ratio: Approx 5.56:1
Fuel: Diesel or WVO

I just returned from a 7 thousand mile trip cross country. I had to do a bit of wrenching on the bus to keep her happy, but everything worked out in the end.

This is a good bus for partying/traveling around the state. It's not such a good bus for traveling the country due to it's slow top end speed and poor hill climbing ability.

I've owned this bus for just less than 2 years and have logged over 20 thousand miles. Only one time did the bus leave me stranded, the starter needed to be replaced.

any more questions, feel free to ask.

I'm located about 1 hour north of Detroit

Must be the automatic and/or the size difference between the engines because my bus, a Ford B700/Thomas with the 7.8L Brazil diesel and 5 speed transmission, can cruise at 60 all day long without breaking a sweat.

having the jacizzi empty or full makes no real difference. The tub itself weighs about 800 pounds empty.

I think the 6.6 liter is just not enough motor for me! That allison auto doesn't matters either.

I JUST CAN'T BRING MYSELF TO DO IT!!

I'm a very confused boy. I have had several inquiries about the bus, but i jus can't sell her. I love my bus !

The bus is no longer for sale. I've poored my heart and soul into that project for the past year and a half, I can't just get rid of her for a measly 2,500 bucks! (besides, I take that thing out every weekend, I wouldn't know what to do without her)

What was i thinking? The after-effects of a 7,000 mile road trip were still alive and well inside my brain. At the time, i couldn't stand the idea of driving the bus across the country again at such a slow pace. I will work at improving the buses top end speed before the trip to burningman next year. I believe an engine swap is in my future.
