Looking for a spot!

Hi everyone! We are new to the community, and we have been living in our bus for about 2 months now, after 3 months spent on converting it. It's me, my husband, and 3 small children and a dog!
We have been staying at a campground, but it is a bit crowded for our taste. The house we sold in order to live tiny had RV hookups and it gave me this idea:
I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Hickory, Lenoir, Hudson, Morganton areas of NC that might have 50 amp hookups on private (or semi-private) property, that they would be willing to rent out to us? We are looking for something for anywhere from 1 to 6 months. We are a homeschool family, and we live organically/holistically so we don't necessarily need septic/sewer access, as we have a composting toilet and all of our other water drainage is safe for disposal directly on the ground. We have really enjoyed the campground, but with all the people, I'm not comfortable letting my kids play freely outside... And they are really missing that independent outside time. We are willing to pay up to $300 a month. If anyone knows of anything, you can email me at itskimra@hotmail.com. Thanks so much guys!

Howdy,

I do not have any information specific to your area. Just a suggestion.

A gentleman in my area owns several .25-.5 acre lots with 50A, water & septic hookups for about $300 a month. When one comes available he advertises on Craigslist.

You may want to try CL or other online classified ads.

Good luck.
