I am not sure how to look for it on that site. I will be needing it February/March.
I need estimates for how much the bookmobile or mobile command centers cost. And how much it would cost to outfit them into a STEM Hub

Add bloodmobiles to your list of bookmobiles and command centers. They are less common but deserve to be included with the other two.

These vehicles pop up when you least expect them. I've found most of the command centers on public surplus, but the others can be anywhere.

That is an excellent way to take a lot of the work out of redoing a bus.

Thanks Robin, I am not sure how to find these vehicles. Could you provide a link please?
I need leads on people who could help me refurbish these units- as I need estimates for the work for my proposal for this project to raise funds.

Finding them involves putting the word out, to get others helping you look, and scouring the regular auction sites until one appears.

In the last few months I've seen about 3 Bookmobiles, 2 Command Centers and 1 Bloodmobile.

The Bookmobiles vary a lot. The others are very well-equipped, lightly used and tend to go high.

Not to crush your dreams and I fully support your idea.
A rush to get the perfect bus and make it what you want it to be?
We can help you find a good bus (whatever it ends up being) but it won't happen overnight.
The members here can only tell you what they found there's for and the cost of the ones they are finding in auction.
But we can't tell you the cost that it will take to make it YOUR Science,Technology,Enginering,Math LAB?
That is all on you.
I do Boy Scout and STEM but mainly my kid are into robotics and yeah it would be cool if the robotic team had a bus to ride there and back in and a garage in the back to work on what they needed.
For my children's STEM Robotics.Once there product is accepted into the competition then it's not allowed to leave but they do give each team a garage (10x10) room with tools. They are not allowed to take it out of there cubicle once accepted into the competition.
They talk about what they need to do in/at the motel after the competition of that day.
Do you want a full STEM lab or do you want one that could accommodate each as needed?
Each as needed could mean that you have a plan/draft table in the back, full screened storage kinda like wall lockers on both sides up to a screened and secured wall that is just behind the amount of school bus seats you want to keep for YOUR intended build.
We can't give you an estimate on anything except what we have done to ours?
Not trying to be mean or rude.???

Good place to start is publicsurplus.com... that is where I bought my bus.

They have a pretty easy search function. Here's an example of what they have:

And 96 to look at here: https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...=&category=94H

Have fun!
