Looking for old fashioned mechanical door arm

My bus has a pneumatic door arm. I would prefer a mechanical door arm so I can open and close the door when the engine is off. If anyone has one available please let me know.

I'm in KY, have had my bus nearly two years, really just starting the conversion.

Re: Looking for old fashioned mechanical door arm

Just scrapped ours a couple weeks ago. But we are in NM. A junk yard would be a good source for used. Do a search for "graveyards" here and you should come up with a list of bus graveyards. Only one I am personally familiar with is in Alto GA. But I have seen buses scattered in various auto junk yards.

If you come across any that are not on the list, please add to it (include state nearby town and other info you come up with). Much of the lists that you glean off the internet have wrong info. Thanks!

Re: Looking for old fashioned mechanical door arm

I've got a mechanical arm, freshly removed from my conversion project. It needs a good home.
