Looking for RV/Bus Conversion spot

Hi Everyone,

I am gearing up for my bus conversion project and am looking for a spot to move my RV to while I work on the bus. I'm in the Fort Worth area. I'm not very familiar with the area so I'm stuck with internet searches and haven't had much luck.

I posted an add on craigslist today, and so far had one text from a pervert.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There's something wrong with a craigslist ad if it only gets a response from one pervert.

Was it listed in the personal adds?

If a pervert wanted to come give me what I was asking for my shorty, he could have it. I'd even wear something cute. JK... I'm not selling this shorty any time soon. Some truly EPIC bus would have to come along to make me stray from Ms Shortface.
I posted my bus just to see what response I'd get and so many replies came in so fast I pulled the ad!

Word to the wise: if anyone ever tells you they'll "give you more than you're asking", there's a good chance they're a pervert, and they probably aren't talking about money.

It's going to look like a glow in the dark Jackson Pollock painting in there...

Ok, that was the hardest I've laughed all day. But, unless this has turned into a bus painting thread I think we may have gone off track.

Sorry TheRoadGoesOnForever. I've got space for you to park but you wouldn't like the commute.

Yeah, sorry for the threadjack, OP.

Back on topic... my wife and I were recently considering moving to DC. It was a daunting proposition thinking about finding a place to park and work on the bus. I feel for you. Good luck!

You guys haven't been much help, but thoroughly entertaining!

Here's a snag of the ad: Click image for larger version

Name:	BusSpot.PNG
Views:	3
Size:	20.7 KB
ID:	13230

I'm probably over sensitive, because, nope, the internet isn't full of creeps. I intentionally made the post vague. I'm the female in this coupledom and spearheading my bus project.

However, when the "pervert" wanted pictures of us (not the bus, but us. I clarified) within the first five texts, I didn't stick around further. He'd already revealed that he didn't have a spot, but questioned my alternative lifestyle.

Carry on with your shenanigans

please?

Sorry we couldn't help you guys find a nice place to stay. Sometimes farmers will rent a spot with a power cord by the barn.

Are we talking about the same internet? Finding your way around the one I know is like running through a cornfield backwards.

I'm not sure that's the pervert to actually see. He sounds like a lightweight with no photos.

Found a spot to accommodate us not too far away.

I'm taking delivery on my new 89 Bluebird TC/2000 in two weeks and I'm ready to drop a fortune on the dream of working wherever the hell I want!

working wherever you want IS the real freedom... trust me on that... No i dont live in either bus, but the idea that at anytime I feel like my head is gonna exlode or im off-center, or just need a change in venue, I grab a couple bags, the keys to one of the busses and just go.... working wherever i can get an LTE or Wi-Fi signal..

yeah GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
