Looking to buy partial or fully converted Skoolie! SOCAL

Hey folks!
My husband and I and our dogs hoping to buy a Skoolie within the next year so we can do repairs and hit the road when he gets out of the Navy in 2021. We have had the idea for a while and would love to make it happen. We love to snowboard and mountain bike and hike so are looking for something that can get us to the mountains and eventually take us home to WA. We prefer a long bus but are willing to be flexible for the right bus. Looking to spend around 25k Max. ANy advice on where/how we should start would be great. Thank! feel free to respond to post or message me if you have information.

Start looking at the auctions like Govdeals.com, especially in your PNW area, some of the better buses come from that area, I've bought 2 from there.

It's pretty quiet out there now, most school districts won't do a lot of auctions right before holiday break in my experience.

The BEST deals I've gotten are when everyone else is worried about the holidays. Nov-Feb is when I've gotten almost all of mine. Less buses available but less folks wanna mess with bidding and going to get em.
