We recently renovated a 40 foot 1998 T44E international school bus into a beautiful RV with three beds that can sleep up to 6 people in comfort! We have just travelled central america starting in costa rica up to San Diego but now have to sell the bus before we move back home to nz. Looking for some keen travelers to take her off our hands! We are prepared to drive the bus to its new owner (within reason) to make sure the transition in handing her over runs as smoothly as possible.

This bus was designed with comfort in mind, it is perfect for anyone fro an eager couple looking to see it all in style to a group six friends looking to get an experience of a lifetime! This bus has ample storage space for even the biggest wardrobe. The bus features a 40' plasma tv, full sized fridge and freezer, air conditioning and 200 liter tank that runs through carbon filtration which allows drinking water for up to a week at a time, so for those that love the unbeaten path this bus is perfect for you!. The power for the bus is generated from 4 solar panels that are mounted on the roof, these run through a solar charger and into 4 deep cycle 12v 350ah batteries. These batteries in turn provide power to the 3000W inverter that supplies 110v power to multiple sockets located in every convenient spot imaginable.

Included in the sale of the bus:
4500W generator (for those cloudy days)
4 person inflatable raft
5'8'' surfboard.

The three beds are as follows. One futon that coverts into a comfortable double bed. One double fold down bed from the dining table and one queen memory foam bed in the rear. The queen bed is in the "master bedroom" which can be sectioned of from the rest of the bus from the door and partition.

The kitchen unit offers a great amount of storage space that holds all your necessary food and hosts a toasted sandwich maker, nutri bullet, blender, gas stove,bread maker and food containers. the counter provides a great amount of space for preparing any meal and the "marble" countertop makes for an extremely easy cleanup.

This bus would be the perfect addition to Burning man!!!

IMO, you are asking WAY too much.

But yeah, I would be interested in the South America info. A good friend of mine will be taking my (His) bus down there is a year in a bit.

I concur. Today this is a buyer's market, not a seller's market. You MIGHT be able to get $8K to $10K with GOOD marketing.

Buyers market is an understatement.

Now I hate to say this, but....
For what has been done it probably cost 4-5 grand if they were not completely ripped off on everything. First rule of owning a vehicle is that you will probably lose money on it, not make 300% what you paid.
Second is, I have been to South America and let me tell you that this bus WILL need transmision work. NOTHING is automatic down there and for good reason.....

Id guess their solar setup cost around 3k, the bus 4k, and the conversion 4k. That makes 11 for me....Johnny, Who's the winner??!

And having lived in Colombia and been a passenger on more than one of the buses down there you're spot ON!!! I never eye-balled an automatic while I was there. Been on some roads I swore were no more than goat paths with those buses . The clutches and pressure plates were SMOKIN hot by the time we got down from the crest of some of those roads......

Please don't thread crap. It is his bus and he is entitled to ask whatever price he wants. It won't be the first or last time that someone asks what some feel is too much.
