1982 International Blue Bird. 270k miles runs like a TOP, shifts great as well. 90% complete. International DT466 turbo diesel(straight piped with a side exit of course) Allison auto. Full 110 throughout 3 battery bank, converter charger, Pure sine 4,000w inverter with auto tranfer. Ready for a genny. Insulated walls with tongue and groove wood panels. One leather couch with reclining ends and another couch that we built that has storage underneath. Queen bunk beds at back of the bus.Towards the rear of the bus near beds we built a table that comes apart to make another 7' bed. Magic chef 4 burner gas stove/oven and matching apartment sized magic chef stainless fridge. 5% suntek HD Carbon Tint on ALL windows ($1,400). 5' sink base with small bar sink have everything needed to hook plumbing up. Full size 20lb propane tank under bus. Killer stereo, 2 12" champion series pioneers, infinity reference coax x4 (you won't need any more stereo in this trust me). RGB strips inside with RF music controller. Union Pacific large 4 horn train horn. New steer tires, rears are in good shape still. Registered as an RV until end of 2017. Easy title transfer. I like the open layout ! Very nice.

Any chance we can hear a youtube clip of that straight-piped DT466 turbo whine ???

Is it terrible when gliding into an RV Park?

just a heads up for this to be legally on the road under private ownership in the united states it will have to be painted another color then yellow there is a federal law forbidden private ownership of a bus in school bus yellow paint

WOW! i never knew it was federal.. each state has their own laws regarding bus colors.. some dont care.. others it is 50% has to be other than yellow.. some no yellow at all.. I never knew there was also a federal reg in place.

ya it dosent have to be completely painted but more then 50 percent has to be something other then yellow when i built mine i went through every resource i could to make sure i was legal so i wouldnt have any headaches with the law when i traveled

This is really a great bus. I took it for a test drive back in January when I was working in Washington. If I didn't just buy a bus on saturday I'd be buying this one for sure. Gotta love the mechanical DT466 without the "E".
