wheb you say shirty conventional 7.3, do you want where front part looks like a van? or the front part looks more like a larger truck?
when you are searching, the navistar version of the 7.3 is called a T-444E (is what would be considered a conventional school bus)..
the Ford front end will look more like an econoline van with a school bus body on the back. these can be found with a powerstroke 7.3
both engines have the same roots

Agree with that ^^
I know where a good looking shuttle bus is with a 7.3. But it’s not the yellow short bus.

Waaait, so there are two busses with the ford power stroke 7.3 turbo diesel? I thought it was only in the e350 and e450s. Those are the ones that look like a van in the front. The only thing I want is that super reliable 7.3 turbo diesel in a metal short bus.navistar makes one too?

The T444E and the PowerStroke 7.3 are fundamentally the same engine. The ford version is tuned for increased power, the Navistar version is designed for more longevity. A bus based on a meduim duty chassis (such as an international 3800 series) will have the T444E, where one based on a cutaway van (e350/e450) would use the Ford version.
The Seven Different School Bus Types - American Bus Sales
The Ford version would be a Type A. Navistar versions would be type B/C/D.

Is this the bus you’re talking about? This has the 7.3l diesel in it. I know he would take $4300, I’ve spoken to him. I almost bought it before I found mine.

No sir I’ve been looking In the southeast, I would rather have a metal bus they’re a little more durable than the fiberglass shuttle busses from what I’ve read. What did you end up getting?
