Need auto trans shift tower and cable

Today a Allison trans arrived. The unit looks great. Now the trans chage needs a few more parts. A shift tower for an Allison, a shift cable, a bell housing for Cummins to Allison, and a flexplate for Cummins to Allison. Most schoolie buses have these parts. Any suggestions? Frank
I'll soon be shiftless in Idaho

What size is your bellhousing? I know of a few bellhousings around, but I would need to know if it's SAE #1, #2, etc. I THINK the tranny end should be the same on all 600 series allisons.

Allison trans change

The bell housing needed is a #2. This part is to mate a sc Cummins to an Allison. I think the DD 671 is the same but not for certain. A flexplate is also needed. The Allison trans is a real beauty. The unit is complete and came from a delivery truck that was in an accident. Same guy has a 3208 Kitty and another trans. Frank

I will do some checking for you tomorrow. If I can't find one here, I know a guy I work with has a dad that has worked on DD's his whole life in Oregon which would save on shipping. He said he could find me a 1-71 for my Toyota so I'm sure he can find a bellhousing

So my guy didn't have a bellhousing Even worse is that the guy at work who's dad is the DD mechanic somehow managed to get 7 days off with his normal long weekend, the holiday, and a personal day or two. I can ask him when he gets back if you still haven't tracked anything down. At the very least he'll know where to work. Funny that a guy that's been shoulder deep in an 8V92 now gets knuckle deep in a Briggs and Stratton

From one extreme to the next I guess....
