Wonder what they consider to be "extensive body rot between inner and outer layers from top to bottom"? Anyone know what the NJ DOT bus inspection criteria is for rust? They use that same terminology on all of the buses listed. IF what they consider to be extensive rust per DOT code is really not too bad these might be a great deal. Anyone have any experiences in the condition NJ buses are usually in?
Saw that. New Jersey. Salted roads. Wouldn't buy one unless (A) I had a chance to do a thorough inspection first, or (B) it was really cheap and I can plan to salvage and cannibalize it for parts if it's too rusted.
