They must have picked them up at a dealer's auction. It's clear by the price that they want to get rid of them.

I figured someone's wife had put her foot down and stopped the build.

Not a bad price either.

I am fighting the temptation to try and "flip" it. I looked at it from 50' and it looked good but they didn't have pricing and were busy. Maybe I'll run back down and have another look. It's only about 30 minutes from me.

That's a good "flipper". Advertise it in the FL CL for like 3x that.

It'll cost him $2,000 to get it to Florida though.

Or are you saying to advertise it in hopes of finding someone to buy it sight unseen, and then let them worry about getting it down there?

I could see it costing at most $1000.00 in fuel. That's assuming 9-10 mpg at 3.00 a gallon for diesel.
An insurance policy - about 500 a year, that you can cancel quickly for a refund.
Bring a sleeping bag and sleep in the bus
Poof just saved you about 500
😂

He doesn't have to do anything other than buy it and list it.

That's about perfect for the new couple that wanted a completed Skoolie.

A bus like that in FL would be even more. IF he drove it here, it would be competing against buses listed at $15,000-$20000 at BGA and the like. Would be the bargain of the day on our CL at around 6-8 grand.

A lot of us could drive buses down to FL. EC, would you want to make your place into a bus lot?

Bus consignment... Flat percentage for allowing it to be sold off your lot. Easy money man.

It's likely you're not zoned correctly to allow you to do that.

Its a commercial lot by the city water works office. Used to be parking for semi's.

If that doesn't work out, I can always stick a bus or two out in the cow field and use ebay and CL to get em out there.

You can let anyone "park" there... If they sell a bus while it's parked there, it isn't a used car lot.
Just saying.

How about if we paint them all mint green. It would confuse the neighbors.

This is an interesting thought. Most of us like to travel. It would be good to combine that with a profit source.

The phone number Googles out to Northwest Auto Recyclers. It's a salvage title. Just sayin'.

Well, they are recycling it, aren't they?
