I too emailed the seller and got nothing. The $500 ad was taken down, then a few days later another identical ad was put up with the same contact info but for $2500. I sent a text asking for more pictures and details and to set up a time to look at it and got a "**** you" text back. then three days later, the ad was gone. Just more mystery.. ooooOOOooo.

I think someone stored the bus somewhere and hasn't paid them in a while. The property owner probably put the ad up with the bus owners phone number on it to mess with him and/or get him to pay up.

I just saw this on Craigslist outside of Austin, Texas.

Claims to be a 2009 Bluebird with a Cummins Diesel. Flat nose CHARTER bus. Not a school bus, but has the perks of being white and not having a restricted engine. 97,000 miles and only asking $13,500.

2009 Bluebird, 5.9 cummins diesel, with 97kmiles

Looking for....

Dt466 or Cummins Engine. Allison Transmission. Automatic preferred. Thomas or Bluebird preferred. Type "D" Transit style, "Flat Nose" REALLY preferred. 1990-1995 is essential. MAYBE a bit earlier in year.

My family is really hoping to find our bus by February so we can start converting ASAP. I know the specs are pretty specific, but I'm putting exactly what I want out there to the universe!! Any one willing to help keep a look out would be awesome!! I can only search so many sites while working full time, and running a family. We will be raising the roof and building lofts into the layout. Shoot, wish there were more readily available double deckers and I'd buy one in a heart beat! Super excited!!!! Thanks in advance!

That doesn't look like a 2009 at all. Dashboard layout and the driver's side switch panel is from 1999-2003. I've sat in enough Bluebirds to know the difference.

In west texas, but travel to dfw and austin often, still looking but nothing has come up that seems like a decent deal and or anybody willing to call back

IDK, but to me both those seem like projects and pretty highly priced.
