Any thoughts on comparing these two for the purposes of moving across country and living in while mostly stationary in cold climate?

I kind of like the skoolie for a blank slate, but the flxible is seriously cool, and ready to go (albeit a bit dated interior). What am I missing?
Ok, the Flxible has a Detroit two stroke diesel engine. If that engine breaks down - good luck on finding a MECHANIC that actually knows how to repair such an engine - let alone the parts availability made from unobtainium. The Thomas is a low roof - read no headroom for standing up or stretching except in the VERY front. The Thomas is also from ALASKA, read loaded with rust and corrosion. I'd stay away from both due to the fact they will require deep pockets of $$$$ to deal with the issues they have.

Just my two cents......

The Flxible looks like it has a homemade dashboard with random wires hanging out of it. Not giving me a warm fuzzy.

They are stunning buses.

Probably hopelessly impractical for extended touring, but they are gorgeous.

They do look classy with the curves. Hopefully they find a good home.

I suppose the only thing is they might be harder to raise the roof on one of those.. basement space would be much different to work with but nevertheless istill wouldnt mind having one.

As cool looking as Crowns are, I'm really only interested in them because of the running gear. An 855 Cummins would be awesome.
I wish Crown had built some short buses. I'd have one already if they did.

Probably a few decimal points. Ticos always start way high in negations. especially if they think a gringo might be a buyer.
