Hard to tell if they will command a premium, or sit there an go for a song.

If you win, you will know it pretty well by the time you have driven it 2500+ miles home.

why cant someone sell an old superior with a 345 gasser and a 545 trans? id love to find and restore to Original one of the busses just like i rode to school on.. ha! guess that shows how old i am since the busses i rode to school have been out of business since 1981...

that genny would be nice to connect A/C to and I could have my A/C on even when im away form the bus..

Nothing wrong with fixing up an old Superior. Thing is, though, you're probably one of the extreme few who would ever really want to.
It would likely be a huge project with lots of one-off stuff to fab as they're long out of production and the company went defunct long ago.
For the average diy conversion "to see the country" one of those old buses would be a horrible choice. That's why you don't see much love for it. You're probably going to appreciate those old buses more than most.

I know where one is and its right here in ohio.. it was built, run and still exists here.. that particular one is about anyone's dream schoolie.

its a 1980 conventional with DT-466 / MT-643 , its owner has restored it to original even down to the seat colors..

the big issue is most of the superiors were sold in the midwest as they were built in Ohio.. you found them outside of Ohio.. but back when we had 7 major manufcturers of busses.. many were more or less regional..
(bluebird, crown, wayne,Superior,Carpenter,Ward, thom as) were the biggies i can think of.. Bluebird and thomas were selling flat-nosed nationwide as they were the 2 majors for those..

of course being that many Superiors were midwestern, there arent gona be many left as rust claimed alot of them.. the ones I rode on were 74 - 80 (various ones)..

I know of several that went out west and were in decent shape.. to a you-tuber.. but that you-tuber hasnt posted a video in over 4 years so no one knows what happened to him or his busses..

I also agree that my interest in Busses is Much different than the average here on the forum... im a "bus-geek" into the "bus" aspects.. whereas most here , the bus is simply the vehicle for which to make their RV or Home..

Superiors would be one of the worst for conversion purposes..
