The seller inverted the H&V letters in the VIN. (it is listed in a photo). The engine is an L-6. It doesn't list the trans. on Gates, but someone with more knowledge than I, should be able to make a pretty good guess.

That bus is going to go for a ton of money, that's not going to be somebody's sweetheart deal.

I don't know where I would put it as I already have two buses in the yard but I WANT it!

I think I may put a reasonable bid on it and see if I get lucky.

Set a reminder for a day before the auction ends. Bidding early shows interest and gets the competing bidders salivating.

Fine lookin bus.

I’m getting my bus terminology figured out. I know the difference in conventional, front engine, and rear engine but what is a dog nose bus? Is that a short nose like the Vista?

The conventional is the dog nose style, with the engine compartment in front of the windshield. It's a Type C bus.

The Vista is technically a type B bus built from a Type C. I call it a stub nose, its fairly clear to people who don't know the lingo!

That's more miles than I would want for starting a new skoolie project... But yeah it seems like somebody is going to get that bus for a thousand bucks.

Closed out at that price. Obviously everyone who checked it out deemed it not worthy.
