No picture would worry me.
The last bus is a Ford E-450/Thomas bus. It is going to be heavy and not have a very large net payload capacity. GVWR is most likely 14,000 lbs. and the empty weight without seats is going to be over 11,000 lbs. and probably not too far from 12,000 lbs.

The vast majority of Crown tandems didn't have a tag axle. Almost all were tandem drive with a differential lock to make both the front and rear axle turn together. Without the diff lock you could end up with just one wheel spinning.

The 1987 gas mini that needs some work would be expensive if it were free. Notice the roof line--it is high over the center aisle but chopped down over the seats. A bus with a roof like that would have no room for any over the window cabinets. And raising a roof like that is a non-starter for so many reasons it isn't worth considering.
The 1975 Superior bus on a P-30 chassis might not be a bad deal as long as it runs okay. It will have all of the problems every other bus on a P-30 chassis has--too much bus for the truck underneath.
The 1990 Ford Wayne bus appears to have a Brazilian Ford diesel engine and most likely it has Girling brakes--a duo combination that is not the best.
The 2010 mini diesel bus has over 300K miles on it. That bus is going to be worn out with the body starting to have stress cracks and leaks from the seams. It will also need DEF to run. A bus with that many miles and perimeter seating is not going to be a big seller. The asking price is about 3x of what it is worth.

Terminology mistake on my part, thanks. Dual rear axles, I never looked underneath it to see if the second one was driven. I'll bet that makes for some fun maintenance and rolling efficiency.

I can't legally get any info from his tag, so I don't understand that. If you're trying to keep the vehicle from getting stolen, what prevents me from calling you with interest and asking where can I see this? And then stealing it later?
To me, that's a $5k bus. You might talk them down from $15 to $10 and you'll still be paying too much.

I called and they're claiming that they're worth 30-35K due to the particulate filter. Hope that saves some time for others.

Hello WIBlueBird. Just curious about the issues with this engine in a pusher. I’m pretty new to all of this, and still sucking in as much info as I can, so I’d love to understand this.

That's a tad higher than I thought it would go for! Looked like an easy starting point for conversion, and there seemed to be quite a lot of interest. Thanks for the update.

Care to elaborate?
Too little power? Cooling issues? Access?
