CLEAN Chevy G-wagon shorty. I'd buy this if covid weren't going around right now.

Wouldn't they have the AT-545 in them?

They're nice buses, and a nice size. Folks DEMAND to pay full retail when bus shopping, though!

545 isn't a deal breaker for me. 99% of the good buses are going to have them.
Mine has one. I don't have mountains to cross, so it works fine.

Dunno, I thought the last batch had some 2000s in them. Maybe I'm misremembering.

Year 2000 is when the 2000 series was released, very few got them , those will likely be geared for 65 but be 545s, I’m done with 545s except on a short runner or a classic that I don’t want to alter.. many Texas busses have air conditioning too if it matters.

Now with CoVID is actually a great time to buy a bus, many of the exporters are not here right now...

It’s pretty safe to travel, stay in nice hotels and not cheap fleabags and you’ll do fine

Hi! I’m a student in Phoenix and i’m looking for a place where i can store my bus for about 8 months while i work on it. I can pay around $150 a month and would need access to power. If anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated.

2002 Thomas, 5.9 w/Allison 4000 sitting at $1550

2000 BlueBird 5.9 w/Allison 2000 sitting at $2000

2001 BlueBird 5.9 w/Allison 2000 sitting at $1525

2003 Special Ed Bus. Midsize, sitting at $1000. Mileage seems suspect. Normally I would argue low mileage, I'd be surprised if an 03 SpecEd bus would have 300K+ miles on it. Be worth checking it's condition if it stays near that price. It could be a typo and many will shy away from bidding because of the mileage.

https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...89&acctid=1137
The sold prices on the Alabama buses tell you that exporters are hungry for inventory. Tires on the one that sold for $16,000 were from '06 and '09 for the one that sold for $13,100. That one, plus one not shown here, had an Allison 545, not the 2000 as advertised.

The special ed bus mileage is accurate. Was bid on by another forum member before this re-list.

Deal of a lifetime! If I didn't get a Casita, I would be bidding on this one.

Q: Why has it been out of service for 2 years? How can it be driven without a key? (8/21/20 11:34 PM)
A: All buses are in running condition. The town went to an outside vendor for transportation. Buses were not used for 2 years while town was building a new high school. We finally have time to sell them. (8/24/20 9:14 AM)
I dunno, this seems kind of unlikely. How much time does it take to post a bus and tell people to look up the bus details with the VIN?

Q: Any rust? Was it stored indoors? (8/24/20 10:13 AM)
A: stored outdoors. not sure about rust. all are welcome to inspect bus in person. (8/28/20 7:26 AM)
Massachusetts? Rust.

Something fishy going on here. Bid up to $8k and then the next bid was $5k more. And then the $8k bid one it by adding $100 to the $13K. Same 2 bidders on both higher priced buses.

It breaks my heart a little every time I see one of those great condition Sonoma short Buses from last winter listed on Craigslist for 5k-10k totally unmodified beyond seat removal. I still kick myself for passing them up, even though I was and still am in no position to buy...

That was my original intention when I bought one, but have no fear. I'm not getting rid of mine anytime soon. Having too much fun

Breaking my heart even more (that first pic is a great pic btw), and that's a good looking bus and a great size.

E-350/450 is a great platform if you want to get off the beaten track. Large aftermarket, locking differentials and limited slips are easy to find, handful of different lift options available if desired, and even a few companies that do 4x4 conversions or offer parts for DIY 4x4 conversions if that is your thing.

It looked like that batch of buses were very well taken care of.
