When you can just buy something like this one just posted on CL, $10k for 28ft motorhome with 20k miles on it and then spend the next 1-3 years traveling and living in it.

As my grand father used to say. Put your money where your mouth is [emoji16]
I'm in Florida and want to spend this summer road triping with my kids.
Find me a nice rig for under 10k please.

I note over the last 6 months anything under $10k is sold within a week, so this one might be gone already..
This is just too easy. The box truck was only $2500 for the DIYer.

Some people must be high on drugs when they make a listing...

To top it off, its a 2008 diesel. Free would be too expensive for me.

I know how some feel about the Cat engines. Not sure how good a deal it is just considering the age and mileage already. Being a desert bus is a plus though.

Worth the 5K? I'm sort of hovering around weather or not the 3116 is worth it at this listed mileage. Does anyone know at about this year and mileage what the condition may be like while being a desert bus. I've search the forums a quite a bit and it seems like it is a good engine if it dose not need new injectors.

Being a desert bus is GOOD - unless you enjoy rust remediation. I don't know about the engine or the mileage, but everything else looks pretty good and five grand is not a lot in the current market.

Seems a bargain compared to the home built conversions selling for big bucks these days. that's a real class 8 drivetrain in there!

I'm pretty sure things are not going to go as smoothly as you are planning.

Good morning everyone. Looking for some advice on some available buses at M and M Salvage in VA. They have an excel sheet located at the below link.
I am looking for a pusher with 75+ seats. Lots to choose from it looks like that are reasonable priced. I'm about 4 hours away, trying to narrow down my options before I drive up for a look.
Thanks!

Some sweet 7-window, high-ceiling Internationals with p-pump (I think) DT466s and MD3060s (also I think?) on govdeals: https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...1&acctid=19243
LA buses so no rust, high mileage (~350K).

YEs some districts ordered their 3060's with t-handles.
