WOW, if I was visiting my parents in Texas any time soon I'd try to snag that one just to sell up north. Likely an AT545, but in a smaller bus that's not really such a big deal. Looks really nice and clean.

I logged on early and put in a proxy bid of $100, it showed me as high bidder at $25. I then changed my high bid to $500, and then to $1000. About 10 minutes before this went live a second online bidder came in and bid $100, making me high bid at $110. As soon as this item went live it got about 10 bids in one minute taking it to $5k. Wow

Just watched the live auction, it sold for $5000 to an onsite bidder! Holy moly. Makes my 35' Ohio bus look like a steal at $5200...

A high ceiling 06 Chevy shorty also sold for $5000 to an onsite bidder.

DD 2 stroke pusher. Damn solid deal compared to the average cost of entry to play the skoolie game these days.

Dang. Sweet deal on a solid RV, not one of those Winnegarbage dumps out there. Dated interior, faded exterior, but nothing some elbow grease and supplies cannot fix.

They come with roof decking, spray foam insulation, air ride... all the good stuff.

I came across this 4 window gas Chevy short bus. Only 20K miles. Too far away and too short for me or I'd be interested.

That's a terrible bus...a piece of junk...nobody in their right mind would bid on that. Do not bid on this bus.

Yes, I'm joking...because I'd love to own that! 4x4 with a Telma and autochains?! That things all set for hills and ski season.

I'd guess she'll go for upwards of $8500...maybe much higher?

On a side note. Just a couple of weeks ago, we helped a customer identify and bid on (and win) a great bus. Before we spoke, she'd done lots of research and she contacted someone who told her all those buses were junk and not well maintained and that she should pass on them. As it turns out, he's got 8 or 10 of them himself. It seems that he was trying to discourage competition. Nice, huh?

Yes, sometimes we are in competition for the good buses out there. But that's part of the system. I love that this forum is populated with a much more knowledgable and respectful group than all those FB groups seem to be...

Having said all that. Nobody should bid on that 4x4 bus.

I'm guessing it will be 20 grand or more if enough people notice that listing.

The last auction for 4x4 buses that I saw a few months ago at a Ritchie Bros lot up in Canada they had 4-5 TRASHED ones that were ICs used to transport oil field workers. I think they were all towed in with multiple mechanical issues and the bidding reached stupid levels even factoring in the CAD to US conversion rate.

Yeah...you're most likely right. I have a pretty good sense for "normal" bus prices, but something like this is rare enough that I'm in uncharted waters. And it's exactly that rarity that will drive up the price.

That 4x4 bus is at $10.5k, 5 days from auction close. And the reserve's not yet met. You're absolutely right about where this will head... way more than 20 actually, at this pace.

Let's do a pool. I'm guessing $35,000.

Healy Bus Co. in Lynn MA still has IH CE-300 buses for sale, in just as good a condition and not nearly as expensive. This one is already overpriced, IMO. The mechs at Healy are good people and they take good care of their buses.

Which one is over priced? The 4x4 ? This bus is from Calif. no way it's worse than a bus from Mass. Do they have any 4x4's on the lot?

Wait, what? That's four-wheel drive? Neverrrrmind. The bidding will soon go through the roof indeed.

A low mileage TC1000 on auction at purple wave. Below 26K GVWR (if that matters in your state). It doesn't have much about the condition in there but the video shows it running at least. These seem like they come up infrequently and I figured someone here might be excited about it.

I am excited about it. Thanks. I just had to pass on a nice bus because the engine hours were past 13k on a cat7 engine and I didn't want to take that risk so I'm back on the search for a flat nose mid size.
