Amtran was a Navistar subsidiary that was shaken up in the early 00's, in a reorg to become IC Bus, which was Ward until it filed for bankruptcy in the early 80s.

I think Bill Clinton "bailed out" Ward back in the day.

did superior have something to do with ward? a lot of the ward busses I saw it seemed they looked very similar to superiors.. the sloped driver window, the inside deforster units were the same, same style switch panels, etc..

You know, most of us are already on bus overload with our own conversion. I wonder if there's a way we could help noobs find buses in their specific areas, say by zip code or something not to personal. We find buses where they are and hopefully a noob will pick up on them, by hit or miss. It just seems that a lot of people come here and they're really looking for help to get a nice bus the first time. Someone with an idea of how to make this work speak up.
