I dont cruise "Chicks"(not my flavor).. but (I know its wierd).. I find myself sometimes using a bus as a daily driver... pulling up at Publix, getting groceries, going to target.. and then on.. Ive gotten lots of thumbs up and some wierd looks...

I think my new shorty is gonna keep all its seats... or at least be all seats of some type.. and be a driver and a runner for when friends want to go places..

anyone ever Valet'd a School bus?

my new one is gonna be RED... since its got the dark tinted windows and white roof already... then I'll put chrome wheels (or simulators) on it...

im gonna keep the small 19.5" wheels I think it gives the bus a unique look.. and once i use the ServiceMaxx software to delete the speed limiter and enable the cruise im set!. LED lights and a kickin stereo inside

210 - i think thats austin.. might be some nice rigs there.. though its flat in so much of the area a lot of small engine / 545 busses there.. but that isnt a show stopper unless you are going for mountains..

I agree with the dude though.. EVERYONE needs a bus!!

I believe he is in Pearsall, Texas a little South of San Antonio. Supposed to have lots of buses. The location should allow him to sell many from South of the border. That may, or may not, influence prices.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised at that price.

Somebody's got a tremendous amount of time in that thing.

I can tell you for a fact that a 1991 Carpenter has pretty much NIL insulation in it.. so that conversion would all have to be ripped..

I also wonder about the "needs a thermostat".. thats a tricky phrase for an international.. as wit hthat half radiator can be a fan clutch, a bad radiator, etc... and then how hot has it been run?

A thermostat is what- $10?
More to it, I'd imagine! Run away!

I just RAN away from a van I was looking at this morning. Popped up on CL. Was SOOOOOOO sketchy. Had to walk down a creepy dirt road, and the van wasn't even the one pictured. There were two houses. One was CLEARLY where crack was being sold. GOt outa there REAL quick!
