I've been looking for a bus for a year. Nothing yet. Seems everyone is asking too much, like $4-5k.

I just want a flat front, mid-size, with a lift.

Just picked up this beauty from Aurora CO on GovDeals for $1760.
The bus in the link in my posts was $2150 and came from KY.
We've also grabbed a couple cop cars in the last year. Buying auction vehicles is fun.
I got this badass lil shorty for less than most folks spend on their litterbox, and it even came with nearly new tires on it.

This picture was taken about half-way point to home after picking it up from the Sheriff Dept.

Since then I've restored all the original systems to one degree or another and added some bits as well.

I thinkl ECCB has the right idea.. bid low and often... and dont get imnpatient...

and then id also say think of a bus that works for you but may be a tad bit off the mainstream.. ie if you are short and dont need the extra height then bid on some low height busses, if you arent going to travel the mountain ranges or are only putting a few miles on then a lower spec drivetrain or higher miles may be Ok.. if you are good at body work and rust repair then a bus with a little rust on it is Ok...

EVERYONE is looking for that Nice rust free, all powerful, High top , highway geared bus.. if that is what you need then be really patient but if you are on a total budget and time constraint then you start widening horizons...

the best scenerio is to have all the time in the world to bid on and learn ther auctions..

ECCB has been bidding on shorties for a long time, but hie is just chill and waited till the right one at the right price..

Here is after mostly packing up and leaving TTITD last year.

...anyways, I'd imagine someone will have fun with that previously posted bus if they manage to grab it.

How much do you want to pay? I see that bridge in North Carolina is not cool.

That's no lie. I just wanna be able to drive it home. I can change the gearing, and everything else myself.

What does that verse have to do with not knowing what Burning Man is?

ANyhow most BM attendees have LOTS of money. Look how much it costs just to go!

Yup, I know.

Just putting it out there, since people seem to be looking for that engine often.

Seems like a cool little bus.

I have been digging around on the Richie Brothers site. I am surprised by the number of buses they have, and I have found a few that look interesting.

I also found this prior sale which would have been perfect as donor for stuff on the bus. I will be checking this site regularly from now on! LOL By the time I add up the cost of tanks, AC, generator and all of the odds and ends that I can probably scavange, I would be well over $4000 -
