worn out or injectors subjected to bad fuel can be issues on any diesel engine.... ironic that the worst thing for an injector is the diesel fuel itself....

they wear out... as does the high pressure pump.. on all.. not alot of people (including myself) have the tools to properly test pump pressure and injector spray patterns, break points etc...

seems the trick for any of us is findin g that local trustworthy independent shop that will fix things that are broken and not tell you things are broken when they arent...

when buying a bus locally chances are you can get someone to look at it with you or check it mechanically...

so many people asre buying busses from auctions and such site unseen or only able to "look but dont touch".. so only relying on anything put in the listing..

its a total toss up i guess.. we have read stories of breakdowns even busses having to be ditched... yet other stories of site-unseen buses travelling 2500 miles across the country without issue...
