one of the pics mentions "my partner and I", in the fine print, and the listing mentions "my wife and I".. makes me wonder that it isnt just showing pics of what a roof raise looks like but isnt the actual bus..

Is that Aaron's bus in their pic?
I'd imagine they botched something and just wanna run away themselves.

that first pic looks to be the only one thats a different bus.. the Blue-bird.. all the other pics appear to be of the same bus, an AmTran.. its definitely not the Berry bus that was at BGA, but yeah the first one almost looks like aaron's bus..

For one thing, more than one bus is pictured and the first bus is definitely not the one that is talked about in the description. Why they felt the need to post that picture I have no idea.
I also wonder about mixing metals. If they haven't provided for a barrier between them the electrolysis will be eating away at the different metals already.
The price is attractive but I think this one really falls into the buyer beware category.

According to the add " the front and rear aren't buttoned up"
They did use sheet aluminum
So if someone local wanted it, I wouldn't see a problem (after actually inspecting it) but I don't see it making and long trips at the moment.
I think they put the other picture up to show what they think it will look like when it is done?

I am not sure if the bus has been purchased by someone who is trying to flip it for a profit or if the original poster is trying to maximize the $$$.
It is a nice bus but not more than $5K nice.

See if any pics of the undercarriage.
I just don't get as excited about TC's. The best BB's come with four headlights!

They were just close ups of fair tires and the engine. Was the Cummins with the individual valve covers. I am not looking for a fe bus. But it is cheap. The seller answers one question about someone driving it 800 miles "I wouldn't drive it that far, the rear tires are good, the front's are fair"

I like Cummins, but I'd never spend the time and money to do a conversion on a bus with an engine that can't be rebuilt in-frame. To me that's the difference between a keeper and a bus you throw away at 300k-350k. ymmv, of course.

went for double that.
I am from MI and no way would I give $2k for a 225k steel bus from Flint, MI.
A town severely in financial trouble ALL the time.
It was likely only maintained when it needed to be fixed.
