I never assume that the price they list at is where they are - everyone can be talked down in price. I would also guess that if one were to pass along information to the seller that shows it is not worth what they are asking, they would re-evaluate, and if not, it was not meant to be.

I don't try to think for others when I post these - I just post them lol

One of the sisters of my bus came back up for auction
https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...99&acctID=5534

It runs and drives - They mistakenly brought this one around for my inspection.

I LOVE mine, and this one (and the other one) sold mid $3k

identical bus to mine -https://youtu.be/Uibl8Fmui5c

In the Q&A at the bottom of the page, they speak of a "reserve". I was under the impression there is no reserve in these auctions; only a starting price which would effectively be the reserve. What gives?

There are lots of options for sellers at Govdeals, some sellers use reserves, many do not.

As dred noted, there is an option for the seller to set a reserve if they choose to.

Reserve auctions on there say if the reserve is met or not in red letters inside the green box with the bid price information in it.

Ah.... I see the red "Reserve not met" now. Didn't show up brightly enough for my aging eyes.

ECCB, if you remember what was the name of that web crawling search engine we were playing with last year that was finding buses so well?

It seemed to catch private sales, craigslist, Public Surplus and more, but not GovDeals or something like that. That sure narrows down the search process as you can limit it to your area.
