Looks like a 6407. I always liked their looks, especially all the little "racetrack" windows above the sliders.

For $30k, you can have your own "finished" skoolie!
This bus features:
NO roof raise!
NO extra insulation!
and ALL school bus features still fully functional, making it illegal in most states!

Yup. Although, I'd consider it more along the lines of typical half-assery. And, unfortunately, the comments on the thread there are all in favor

Fb is a magical land where everything is perfect and everyone is popular, successful, and wealthy.
Kinda like Pinterest.
Now... back to the regularly scheduled buses for sale discussion.

I was just perusing the local CL ads, of which there are MANY.
Seems that school bus prices are rising very sharply on there. I didn't see a single bus on there cheaper than 4 grand.

If that thing ran I might consider dusting off my manual driving skills. I haven't touched a stick shift in over a decade... Its like riding a bike right?

Sure is.
I don't even use the clutch most of the time.
It's faster to shift without it.

Nice little TC1000 for a good price. Only 88K miles too! This bus is pretty close to me as well.

Here you need the wood to keep from freezing to death.

Found a dealer in Oregon with a couple nice Bluebird REs for sale.
1998 All American with the 8.3 Cummins and Alllison 3060 trans. 227K miles and they're asking $6900
2001 All American, shorter 72 passenger body and it's the 5.9 Cummins. $5900
There's also a few older T2000 REs for sale but nothing under $5K.
