So hopefully in a few more weeks the used bus market will be flooded with dozens of cheap buses that just finished their last tour of duty
So far Govdeals has been picking up a bit but Publicsurplus has been rather slow except for that one Utah district that has about a dozen early 90s Bluebird All American FEs on the auction block. It seems like you could score one in the $1500 - $2000 range. No mention of transmission or engine type however.

Damn that is sweet!!! --- But I'm guessing finding IH parts will be even trickier than an old Chevy or Furd. Still...with a newer engine and running gear...

you arent kidding on parts... plus IH likes to keep parts under wraps.. they want you to buy them from them... but like you did, someone could drop a more modern drivetrain into this bus
I had a devil of a time finding an air compressor for my bus and its a 1991!

I don't know much about the Genesis series busses but I've heard people like the DT466.
Pretty big bus with underbelly storage.

I have bid on a few but have always been outbid at the end. I don't seem to have deep enough pockets!! If it goes somewhere under $2500.00 I may pick it up. Salem is fairly close at about 290 miles.

(is this better?)
Not to start things up again - I just saw the image and thought you might be amused. I repeat myself, and I'll bet I speak for most everyone here:

Not a problem. I think a few of you may have had the misfortune of seeing examples of my artistic skills previously.
That phrase doesn't seem to bother everybody but there are other people like myself that do find it offensive, depending on how the phrase is presented. So those people I've seen leave this forum and not return, is the attitude to just "F" them? That's not what this sight is supposed to be about.
Additionally my posts keep being deleted on this subject.

CB, from that perspective you're quite right. I have shared pictures at times without being coerced. I can't talk online without you demanding photos. You don't respond to PMs so there's no way to talk to you about anything, meaning this can only be public.
Everyone likes to see photos. Me too. I even like providing photos, aside from the fact that my camera is out of commission which I explained in the PM you suggested I write to you. You only respond online which indicates you're attempting to keep this public to embarrass me.
I physically have difficulty going out to take pics, which I shouldn't have to explain to anyone. I'll provide pictures, but it will be in my own time, much the same as when anyone else here provides photos.
If you need any further discussion on this subject I'd suggest you PM me Dude. I'm not responding to this subject online any longer.

I now realize what you are. You've NEVER sent a pm.
I apologized to the thread. Why you still going?
You, sir, are not honest. You've just told outright lies.
Is that why you don't post pics?
