Several Buses For Sale In VA

Mostly flat-nose, 02-05s, a few older ones, a couple dognoses... Even a couple shortys on van chassis. About a dozen -- too many to list. One has been stripped of seats and floor appears to be down to metal -- 90s 3800 with DT360 for about $2500. Navigate Craigslist to Charlottesville, VA and search 'bus'.

03 Semi-Shorty Flat nose

Just stumbled onto this one on FB market place:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...3586879189655/

Its a little pricey but super cool! (IMHO) If it was a little cheaper and I was closer to being ready to buy, this would be it!

Just thought I would share

25 years old with just 30k, count on it having been replaced.

Near you and can use the rust factor as a bargaing tool, you don't care how much rust if you're just pulling AC out. I understand these front and rear AC systems are a $7k option new.

I mainly want the compressor bracketry.. it is pretty much unobtainable for a DTA360 at this point.. and if it were just the brackets i wouldnt care as i can make those.. but they have an auxiliary bolt on pulley that goes onto the front of the water-pump.. that piece is precise since there are 4 other belts.. I havent found one that matches the size.. if the size isnt exact it will bind the other belts..

one of my collector friends very well may want the bus since its a classic wayne.. rust and all.. if it goes cheap enough i could harvest the AC and still sell it for not much less than i get it..

the dash has most likely been replaced.. its a navistar...

01 International RE $3500 209k miles

This looks like a decent bus for a fair price
They probably paid $500 for it at bid.

That is a great bus if you don't mind a stick shift. I don't think it is an OD but it is a Road Ranger of at least 10-speeds. I can't remember if it is a Detroit or a Cummins.

Did they build them in RE with Cummins?

I'm interested in this bus!

Hey now, back off!!!
Some of us only have one bus in our stable..! [emoji57]
From a similar vintage/style bus, I found it came with a 10.4 L Cat engine, tho the one I saw had an automatic tranny...

It could have a 3208 but I'd bet its a Detroit.

Yup, further rooting around supports that.
