Not mine but on CL, looks like a nice bus

I love the lower storage, that would be a plus.

I like the tinted windows and the shiny wheels, but if I'm going to get an arc like that it will be a FE. If I had an FE with that much space I'd have myself a back porch built into the last 6' or so.

Looks like a good platform. Colors are right. 3116 in NOT a V6.

Not a bad looking bus but a couple of things pop for me.

First, it has already been repurposed as it has the 8-way lights painted over.

Second, the listing does not specify how many miles are on the bus. Under 200K miles not a bad price. Over 300K miles not so very good.

Both of those can have an impact on what the bus is worth.

If the paint job was done in a professional shop it would have cost at least $5K.

The chrome on the wheels are simulators--they look nice but they can hide some ugly as well.

The text leads with "78K miles." My first thought was that couldn't be right.

Maybe 78K on the current engine?
For a 92, it wouldn't surprise me if it got a re-build at some point.

Inquired about this bus and was told it had 178,000 miles on it, odometer not working. I was also told it is from Indiana and has some rust on the bay doors. I am searching for a bus with bay storage and they are hard to come by. Would you walk away from the rust?

Is it surface rusted or rusted through? Have them send you detailed pictures so you can get more info.

Mine's an Indiana bus, 1998, and this is the rear wheel well.....

If you can fabricate, go for it, if not, it could be expensive to have repaired. I wanted the exact bus I got, and so i have to do a little more than some on here to get it the way I want.
