Offers on under bus storage - Columbus, OH

Hi, I am looking for offers on this quality made under bus storage box. This has several scrapes from being stored. It is missing one screw per hinge. This is not waterproof, but would be fairly water resistance if mounted horizontally so the doors open out and upwards. The yellow is still bright.

This is huge. Outside dimensions are 100 inches long, 27 inches wide, and about 28 inches deep. The width does taper down towards the bottom. It has ribs as pictured for structural strength. See the pictures for more details. I know little about this so feel free to provide more details or ask any specific questions.

Located in Groveport, OH just Southeast of Columbus. It was stored indoors up until recently when I purchased it. I didn't know what it was and was going to use it as a fish tank. I figure it will be better to be used for its original purpose if possible. Seems to be a very quality built box.

Welcome to the forum!
They look pretty nice, what are you asking for it?
Are there any manufacturing marks to identify it's provenance?

I'd make an offer, but anything over 54" would not fit under my bus (being a shorty).

If the price is right, I may not be entirely adverse to hacking thru some structural steel to gain more storage... [emoji6]

I've only got 54" between the stepwell and rear wheel arch. Or the battery box and wheel arch on the driver's side (and an air tank and muffler behind that.) I'd have to relocate the rear axle, or shorten the toolbox. At some point I'd be better off simply buying a smaller box.

With all that extra work... nope, not seeing it.
The Cost/Benefit analysis is not favorable...
(Good thing I'm not wearing shoes, so I could accurately crunch the numbers)

Yeeaahh. And on the passenger side, there's a fuel tank between the steps and axle, so no toolbox there ... unless I relocate the fuel tank.

The bus already has a small-ish box on the driver's side, behind the axle. The right side behind the axle has the wheelchair lift, which I plan to keep. I *could* relocate the wire and locate a box under it, if I felt the need.

I want to remove the 30 gallon fuel tank and install something larger. It's fine for driving locally but not so much for road trips.

I found space behind the rear wheels. It’s only 30” but I’ll take it! I got a pair of 30x18x18 underbody tool boxes.

Same placement for my tank, tho a scootch more capacity! With 30 gallons, I bet you can about watch the needle descend during warm-up!
Behind the tank, I have a hinged compartment, @ the same size as the batt box on the driver's side, residing behind the steer wheel.

Could be made to fit mine comfortably... But I need a little more info to inspire the otherwise wasted time making measurements.

I don't recollect the length on mine in the same location, but,
It's measured in feet, not inches! [emoji16]

Tru dat! In the subsequent video of a hardfelt ballad, that theme was explored before the term, "Tru dat," became part of the common lexicon.

Hi, I'm surprised by all the posts. Thanks for the interest. Any suggestions on where a manufacturer's markings would be? I'll check under the center pillar and the bottom tomorrow.

Sorry, I have less of an idea than you do! I presume the roto-molded tub has some embossed info, possibly on the backside- bottom as it's oriented in the pix.
The yellow fiberglass front may have something inside of the curved flange opposite of the hinges, or maybe the center bar, but doubtful.
Probably moot, as I'm in TX & I don't know how you might package something that unwieldy to safely ship...
Yanno, you could raise you some gargantuan goldfish in that vat!
Seems appropriate to go with a species that travels in schools...
