Just remember that quiet is not usually a military requirement, nor is lightweight or fuel efficient, unless you are planning to heat with electricity, my opinion is that you would be better off with one of the honda inverter generators, very quiet and fuel efficient

No these are the same as the Quiet Diesels from Onan (cummins), these units are very quiet and are used on motorhomes all the time.

I have an onan already for my conversion, just have to install it. Yes the units weight around 450 # or so. quiet as heck for a diesel.
