I'd buy the tires if they are in good shape I'll take the outside two in the rear and leave the insides so it can be towed. I'm headed out from Pa to Utah in two weeks. I can stop buy and take them off if you want to sell them?

The bus cost me 2500. After pulling the seats and putting them in the old one i scrapped it for almost a grand. 1500 is all i spent. Not a lot of money to have lying around. A new 5.9 would have cost more installed even if i did it myself.

*usually* the busses run in ohio are mechanically really sound.. the inspectors here are pretty serious about mechanicals..

That's what the dealer cut said too. It runs great. But the dash shorts out intermittently

Pirate,
Abso(*&#@&lutely (agree with Chris)!!! Maybe I was one of those guys that had to have a bus. Maybe it's the 5.9L (I weeded those out). I've not seen a lot of buses anywhere near that clean on the outside much less everything else for $2500.

Congrats.

Navistar dashes are notorious for cutting in and out.. usually bad or loose solder joints..

if this is a 466E, the dash may be losing communication with the ECM intermittenly.. its usualy a pretty easy fix.
