PNW Solar Panel "Group Buy"??

Hey Everyone,

I have been shopping solar panel options and finding some really good deals. Unfortunately the "really good" deals are in Florida, Texas & Arizona.

Shipping to the Pacific North Wet is $pendy.

I got to inquiring and found that if I were to purchase multiple pallets and have them shipped the cost drops significantly.

If there is reasonable interest in 250-300 watt panels for around $0.70 a watt, DELIVERED to your door, I will look at putting together a group buy.

For the really frugal I found cosmetic seconds that have been tested for full output for under $0.40 a watt.

I would be able to deliver most anywhere along I-5 or I-90. With enough interest I could make deliveries along I-84 also.

What do you all think?

S.

Thanks for posting that. It illustrates exactly what I am trying to accomplish.

If you order two panels from him your landed cost will be $388 or $0.82 a watt.

If a few of us get together and order we can get that down to between $0.60-$0.70 a watt delivered to your front door. No going to the freight terminal to pick them up.

Still looking for interest in solar panel purchase in the PNW.

The guys down in the SW & Florida are getting the "deals" on solar panels. By the time you pay shipping on 2-4 panels from AZ to WA it is not such a great deal anymore.

The good new is that the shipping on 20 panels is not that much more than the shipping on 2 panels. I we make a group purchase we can get a MUCH better deal.

Anyone interested?

I have been holding off on ordering while I look for others interested.

One last shot. Anyone in the PNW have interest in getting together on an order?

I have received a couple of PM's from folks on the East coast.

Sorry but to get the shipping discount we need to be able meet up to take delivery of the panels. If you are more than 300 miles from 99328 zip code it would not be practical.

If you are close enough and want to save money on your solar purchase let me know.

Thanks.

S.

Ok.... Now that the tariff on imported solar panels has gone into effect it appears the really good deals are drying up.

The best I can find now is 260 watt panels for $175 ea including freight. That is about $0.67 a watt.

Going...Going.....
