Yeah, if I were under 5'8" I'd have not even bothered. SO GLAD that I did it though. Just ten inches made a huge difference.
At 5'10" I'm just at that threshold of needing a high headroom model with minimal insulation, or a roof raise.

That's one of the reasons I'm glad a ended up getting a low roof.

If I had a little more headroom already in the bus, I'm sure I would've bitten at the chance to leave the roof alone and regretted it for years to come.
